She was President of the board of the Maison familiale de Valleyfield in 1997-1998 and continue to work on it.

In May 1999, the Salaberry-de-Valleyfield Chamber of Commerce awarded her the title of businesswoman of the year. She was President of the Chamber of Commerce from 1999 to 2001.

She is actually secretary of the Club d'administration du Canada, Salaberry-de-Valleyfield chapter and member of the Chamber of commerce of Salaberry-de-Valleyfield.

She was President of the Richelieu Bar and represents lawyers from Valleyfield, Sorel, Saint-Hyacinthe and Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu at the general council of the Bar of Quebec from 2007 to 2008.
